Professor Dr. Aiman Nariman binti Mohd. Sulaiman is Professor of Corporate Law at the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She has more than 21 years teaching experience particularly in corporate law and governance. She has also been involved in training company secretarial practitioners in collaboration with company secretaries assocations. She has been involved in and was a key figure in the Malaysian Corporate Law Reform Programme (2004—2008) as a consultant for the project, with the responsibility of setting the framework for the reform project to review Malaysia’s company law, this led to the establishment and functioning of the Corporate Law Reform Committee and the corporate law reform project. She is currently a board member of the Listing Commitee of Bursa Malaysia (2014-present), having held the same position between 2008-2012, the committee is responsible to enforce compliance with the Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
Dr. Noor Hazilah Abd Manaf is Professor and Head of Department of Business Administration, International Islamic University Malaysia. Her areas of research cover quality management, healthcare management and public sector management. Dr Hazilah’s work has been published in various journals such as TQM and Business Excellence, International Journal of Healthcare Quality Assurance, and International Journal of Public Sector Management. Dr Hazilah has also served in various administrative capacities both within and outside IIUM. She was a member for the Research Review Board of the Institute of Health Management, Ministry of Health Malaysia and also a Board of Director for IIUM Schools Sdn Bhd. She was also the Deputy Dean for Postgraduate and Research, and Head of Quality for KENMS, among the many administrative positions held.
She possessed a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance) and Masters in Business Administration (Financial Management) in 1986 and 1988 respectively. She joined IIUM in 1989 as a contract staff. Later she was appointed as Assistant Registrar in March 1990 and was placed at the Office of the Registrar. From 1990 until 2015, she has served several kulliyyah and departments including Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, IIUM Health and Wellness Centre (formerly as IIUM Clinic), Student Affairs Division, Centre of Postgraduate Studies, and Admission and Records Division. After 28 years of service in IIUM, she currently holds a position as Director of University Centre for Community Engagement (BUDI).
